i would go with the quaint yet dignified “Jimb”
jimb can cause a chuckle in business meetings.
How about Jimp? Every friend group needs a Jimp.
Like “jump”, but with an i.
Bring out the jimp
I like the cut of your…Jimb.
Jam the man
Jimbo Jorker?
Any Australians out there able to comment to tell us if Jim-o is a valid nickname?

Nope. We usually shorten the last name instead if it doesn’t roll off the tongue easily. Or we name them after a beloved fictional character, eg. jimbob.
It doesn’t matter if it’s valid or not aussies will turn anything into a nickname
Actually, James is short for Jean Names
Okay, how about you’re Jimmer, you’re Jimmy, and you’re Jim Bob. So you all get to be some version of Jim and we don’t got to be in, fuckin… Cats.
Jimothies are secretly badasses.
I’d go with the European Jimmy
Jamethan.
Thank you for not misspelling it as Jamethon.
Jimothy, of course
I have Jimothy written on my boiler suit.
Jimothy sounds like one of those English sounding names that Chinese people like to give themselves. Like Samanfar
Wait wtf, the video I’m referencing is almost old enough to vote? God damn it I’m old.
What a delightful video :D
Samanfar took me a minute. I also approve of Smacker.
Timothy Jimothy Oshie
Username checks out
Just Jame, the singular
Jame Gumb the only one I ever heard of
Was she a great big fat person?
Is that your king / baron name?
Jimothy on special occasions
The formal variant is Jame-o
William has it better. Will, Willy, Willis, Willie, Buddy, Bud, Bill, Billy, and Liam. Willa, Wilhemenia, Wilma, and Billie for the ladies.
James seems like the least nerdy of the names that have common nicknames. Richard is another one that’s not nerdy.
