Yeah I use a pax 3 for years now
POTV Lobo is my daily driver, with my Dynavap M as a backup. Also have an old Arizer V-tower that I pull out now and then.
I used to have a magic flight box. Loved that little guy
Yeah I had an MFLB back in 2012 and I absolutely loved it. Now I have a Super Surfer desktop unit that I still use occasionally but I find it rather bulky and cumbersome to use.
Had an electronic one for a while that got me into vapes and off combustion but i forget what it was. The Dynavap VAPCAP is high on my list of devices though.
I’ve got a Pax 3 and an Xlux Roffu, love both of them. I’ve got a bong adapter for the Pax so that one gets used the most.
Shout-out to the Pax customer service team, I’ve had a couple go bad over the years and they always ship me a new one no questions asked.
I have a crafty plus that I love and can’t recommend enough… except for the battery life is WACK
The AVB can be made into infused oils too to stretch it further. It may not be worth the effort, but it’s an option. I have so much saved up because I haven’t made anything in a while. The high is notably less, but it’s nice for a night cap. It’s more of a sleepy high than anything.
I’ve made tincture once and a few pounds of budder, but I’ve never reduced the tincture down to oils (I lack both the equipment and the tools to keep said equipment properly clean) but it doesn’t seem too hard. Those electric pressure cookers make budder so easily
I have an anova sous vide. I put coconut oil and the bud in a mason jar, finger tight the lid, set at a temp (I forgot what, it’s been a while) and come shake and burp it frequently. I already had the sous vide, so that was no cost to me, but I don’t know that there’s a better option out there either than maybe a magic butter machine.
I think basic sous vide machine can be had relatively cheap now. It’s good for this, but great for food.
I love it. Pressure cooker method is the same, except I keep the jars small enough they don’t need burping and it’s all ABV so I decarbed with my lungs. There’s something I read about some additive you can toss in (I think it starts with an L) that helps with the smell, but as you can see the extent of my experience with it (I can’t remember what it’s called) I couldn’t get any to try it. And since we already had the instant pot (heh)
I always add some soy lecithin in to my batch. Doesn’t help with smell, but I think it acts like a binder to improve the infusion.

I usually sit at 191c, so not a full extraction, but it doesn’t leave a ton left. I prefer to get the bigger boost up front rather than boosting the edibles later. Still, I should take what I’ve got, wash it, and infused it. Maybe just do multiple batches through the same oil and try to bump the total extraction. I’m not sure if it works linearly doing multiple infusions, but with just one it mainly ends in some sub par cookies that make me a little sleepy.

I assume there is a finite amount of THC that an oil or fat (I use coconut oil) can hold. I don’t know if multiple infusions will stack, or if a weak input will mean lower output regardless of what the substance can hold. I probably have a pound of AVB or so. I haven’t made anything for at l ast a year, and I go through about an ounce per month. I’m on a t break right now mostly because I have spent my excess funds on vacations, so budget wise I’ve got to get solvent again. Inadvertently, it keeps me from spending too much of weed. If I lived in a legal state it would be half what I pay, and I’ve got a good plug at $100 for a half. Usually quality is solid, but sometimes it’s a bit weak.
Can also just dump the AVB into some food, it’s so dry that it barely changes the texture compared to fresh weed
I’ve heard of people making firecrackers, where it’s just sprinkled on say a cracker with cream cheese. I’ve heard raw it can lead to some digestive distress or gassiness, but I’ve never tried. I always have done a water soak for a couple of days to clean it before any infusions.
I’ve made firecrackers and didn’t have digestive issues, for the record. Well, maybe gassiness, but I’m always rootin, shooting and, by god, tootin, so that wouldn’t have been out of the ordinary for me.
Dry herb vape fan checking in. I got some dynavaps, an arizer extremeQ (desktop) and an arizer air max (portable). I quit smoking years ago just hate the taste of combustion and how it irritates so much.
My daily dynavap is the H2 Helix with a low temp cap for flower and stainless steel m+ for concentrate.

I also have an Air Max, have you had any issues with (for lack of a better term) crumbs/debris when inhaling? I ended up having to use a screen which I’ve been told shouldn’t be necessary, but otherwise I like it.

I love my pax
I’ve been using Firewoods since the 5 and they’re pretty great, yeah
Pax 2 user for the past like, 13 years. The button died on my first one a few years ago and I bought an exact replacement. I love it, stuffing in the weed is satisfying and it’s super easy to clean. I despise both capitalism and advertising but this is one of the few products I would fully endorse.
tm2 4lyfe
Yes, tinymight 2 is my daily driver. Before that it was an arizer solo
c/vaporents exists and needs more love!
