The show itself has some sad moments but I just mean what happened with production and season 2. I still haven’t finished season 2 yet but it really is… Disappointing so far. I just went on a binge watching the old pilot and season 1 as well as some behind the scenes that was on cartoon hangover’s channel and God the nostalgia and the memories makes season 2 hurt so much.

    Yes! Blessed activity!

Lazy in Space isn’t really a “season 2”. It’s a redo, and the start is weak, as it kinda just doesn’t live up to the original pilot episodes from youtube.

It does eventually expand on a lot of things.

      Yes. Blessed activity!

Also yes. After watching it over again on YouTube and a bit of the second season I immediately looked to see if there was a community on Lemmy for it. But there’s no post and only like 70 subscribers :(

Ahh okay. I’ll finish the rest of it with that in mind. I still love the show and want more it just definitely doesn’t hit as hard as the original episodes on YouTube

I usually just “meld” the original episodes into replace the parts that fall short in the full production in my mind.

Also, the full series ends up having some of my favorite Bee faces:

I’m so happy to see a bee and puppy cat community, it’s one of my favorite shows.

I remember watching the pilot when it came out, and I went through the first season half a dozen times and it’s entirety before 2 was finally released.

but I liked two also, maybe I should rewatch both of them because I didn’t do a direct comparison, I just watched two when it came out and enjoyed it.

that show deserves much more air time, funding, recognition and applause than it got, but that is the game of production and Natasha and Fred and the studio seem to be grateful for what they were able to make.

I don’t think season 3 is permanently off the table, though it might take years like season 2 did.

Honestly I would kill for a season 3. I remember first stumbling upon bee and puppycat on the 3ds video app in like 2013-14. The series itself gives me such a warm nostalgia that goes perfectly with the ambience of the show

they said they were working on it like 2 years ago right?

        I’m going to go see.

in 2022 they said that they were working on season 3, and then there was that writers strike in 2023, but their official Twitter page is active enough for a cold show and has 2024 Halloween merch 4 days ago.

i haven’t lost hope for further seasons.

haha, their Twitter page is awesome:
