Fellow electrician here, I’m convinced that electricity is magic. I’ve only been in electric for 2 years or so, but I’ll be damned if I know how that shit works. The copper touches together and that equals light, or motors spinning, or whatever have you. How? Idk, smarter people figured that out, I’m just here to make sure the damned drywallers don’t cover up our magic copper

I’ve had a fascination with Prague since I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. It takes place primarily in Prague, fantastic book series.

Hey I love Union Terminal! Great museum. And you’re right, the building is beautiful. The massive mural in the entrance area is my favorite piece of any building I know of.

Why can’t we just have what that one Greek philosopher (or whoever it was) predicted, and just sloth around and have orgies all day.

I mean idk about an orgy, but I’d love to have robots do all the work while humans can just kinda chill, pursue whatever we want at whatever pace we want.

Edit: Being free to do what we want wasn’t actually part of it from what I see after a quick google search, it was Plato who argued we should just have rigged lotteries to select only the best candidates selected “fairly” for creating offspring in state sanctioned orgies, and sacrifice all the other offspring. But still… robots doing everything would be pretty dope.
