I agree. Though one addendum. showing up in the primaries is good, but it’s not going to solve bad candidates. We need to start running ourselves. Rebuilding state parties ourselves. And telling the disastrous national party to get fucked.
That sort of concentrated power always results in conceitedness and corruption.
That is certainly a better start than years past where they simply ignored everything except top level offices. Including their voters.
But it still won’t help anything if they try to run the most focused group tested, middle-of-the-road, oligarch approved, bland candidates. Mamdani and others are showing another path. But so far, local and national Democrats have always seemed to want to fight their kind.
Unfortunately, that’s what most of these companies and studios have largely become. Risk averse IP leasing crews.
I remember seeing a while back that they were looking to restart reboot or somehow continue some of Rumiko Takahashi’s IP from the 80s. I think they did produce some new episodes of Those Annoying Aliens and there was talk of new Ranma 1/2 as well. I’m sure Inuyasha 2 is somewhere in the pipeline.
Well, I think there’s definitely good reason to reach out to voters of all stripes. Including Republicans. But voters are different than politicians. By reaching out and inviting the politicians who enable the damage in amongst them. They just make themselves complicit.
Democrats would do much better if they reached out to their own voters at all. Not just dismiss them and pal around with other out of touch politicians.

To be fair the flcl side has been largely rehashing that as well iirc. The original series and it’s soundtrack are goated. I’ve watched the ones after and they were okay. Though it’s always hard to match that first bog hit.
You are so close. Why stop half way there. Look into the founding of Israel. It was always colonial and Zionist. Jews lived in Palestine before Israel. Peacefully with their Palestinian neighbors. The middle east wasn’t even the first place the UK and USA were looking to relocate the Jews to.

And for many reasons the UK and allies finally caved on Palestine. So instead of moving and integrating with the local peoples and culture. They came rolling up with the aid of two large bullies to steal the land from under the people living in it. Day one minute one.
That isn’t to say that this was all or is all the people living in Israel. Just the leadership the whole time.

Following along with him at the start you get to know a bit about him just watching. Kind of like him a bit even. Then boom! Chum in the waters.
I haven’t watched the new season of Peacemaker. But if he can handle anti-heros like he did with season 1. I think Supergirl of in good hands.
