I grew up in Nigeria and am here now after an absence, there is a problem in the north with Boko Haram, who are terrorists, however they are not targeting Christians, they are killing people randomly, they will attack Churches, Mosques, schools, etc. They are not waging a holy war against anyone, they are terrorists full stop.

Hear hear, well said, as a 52 year old, (albeit I’m Lebanese and had my fair share of Israeli wars), it’s been obvious from day 1 Israel has long been practicing blatant apartheid policies in the Gaza strip, and providing IOF support to terrorist settler pogroms in the west bank. The vile entity that is the Israeli government today needs to be torn down and rebuilt to allow for a viable Palestinian state.

Well, to the outsiders looking in, it looks like these protests are non existent and not effective. Doesn’t seem to be much stopping Trump, with the courts now siding on Trump regarding deploying the national guard. Protesting every day might be less effective without economic disruption going with it Ideally there should be a general strike, get the workforce out in force, this administration only cares about the bottom line, once the billionaires start feeling it then maybe. Unfortunately I don’t think this is possible in todays America, for various reasons including size, reliance on work for health reasons, etc etc etc.

I agree with much of what you said, I posted that while angry and so it came across unsympathetic. Mental health (I’m a recovering alcoholic, 7+ years sober after 27 years of hell before I took responsibility) is key to a majority of these kids. We also have to acknowledge the fact that many of these kids haven’t developed any social skills, in my day, you had to talk to people, you made friends, you learnt social norms by trial and error, there was no screen to hide behind under an alias. No one told them the internet isn’t social interaction. Unfortunately, society doesn’t seem equipped to deal with this phenomena. I appreciate you calling me out on that.
