I downloaded some xbox games from the internet archive and only needed 3 of the 80+ games in the pack. After about 3 weeks of seeding just those 3 games, my ratio was a 32! I had the space to download the rest of the torrent, so i did and it still consistently seeds a few GB’s daily. I am one of only 7 people with the complete torrent, so i’ll keep it up for years and i’m glad to help others able to access it.

Data storage is getting expensive though and i’m having to be more selective. I already have 80TB in hard drives, so i need to be careful what i use my space for with the active destruction of online information by the White House.

When i changed careers in my early 30’s. I was in retail for over a decade, hated everything about it, but was too worried about finding a new job. Buddy of mine offers me a desk job, i take it and it changed my life for the better.

I realized after a week that i’ve been busting my ASS for years with nothing to show for it. My coworkers have been here for 1-4 decades and none of them leave.

If you find the right job and the right management, everything gets so much easier.

I imagine many are like me and a general strike is absolutely terrifying as we would be fired immediately and the job market in the US it at it’s all time worst. I work in a at will state and my company is small, they would have no problem firing me and the rest of my workers wont strike as they are MAGA. So i’m stuck to protesting.

This is coming before Christmas next year. Many researchers say the auto loan industry right now is worse than both the 2000 and 2008 crashes. So the trump 2026 crash could destroy the entire country if millions of loans are defaulted and the government is broke.

I don’t understand how people keep buying new cars when shitty ones are $50k. Even these $100k SUV’s are poorly built and tons of issues.

If I was a Republican in Congress, I’d be PISSED that the president is illegally taking several of the most important aspects of my job away from me.

Most people do not believe in themselves and do not trust themselves to do anything new or to retry something they didn’t like before. It’s a shame cause it hurts you for your entire life.
