Oh yes, nutrition and certain oils can definitely effect the heart!

I am so sorry to hear that. Sounds very similar to my story, I suffered in perimenopause for the better part of 8 years before realizing what was happening to me.

A lot of people think ADHD is just not being able to sit still or being unable to focus in class due to a low attention span. It presents itself in so many different way and chronic fatigue is one of them because the brain has to cope with the dopamine overdrive. I’m sorry to hear, when were you diagnosed if you don’t mind sharing?

you must be one of the lucky ones! For most women and men in andropause it’s a gradual slow drain then one day you wake up, and why am I so exhausted? Next thing you know it’s been quite a long time since you had a ton of energy 🥺

there’s a few growing pains in any new community, but it’s been overwhelmingly positive!

I have heard of sellers putting up fake shops on Amazon, i’ll be sure to shop carefully and check out some vitamin stores

I appreciate the heads up! Good looking out! I’ll be sure to see if there’s a more “pleasant” version on Amazon 😆

Valerian root…looking that up now! Ty!

I actually mean the opposite😆 I’d rather sleep at 10pm and wake up at 5am like a normal person, I try to be productive when I wake up early, do laundry, clean, etc. It’s the fact that due to peri I can’t workout yet until I’m on HRT, it’s like I’m drained and sleeping 8 hours. When I’m in shape and training consistently I only need 6 hours. Any suggestions?

Nonsense, you can post here and in !CarnivoreKitchen@lemmy.world as much as you like, it’s your space to have fun with cooking!

I’ll definitely post an update for sure.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for my upcoming Gyno appointment. I truly hope to find a HRT therapy plan that works. I’m dragging and I’m ready for a change!

Same here I’m in America and yes this winter will be rough. I think you give off “I’m not a chef, but you probably would be if wanted to kind of good a preparing healthy proteins” I just launched Carnivore Kitchen for people to give tips, post their recipes and learn from each other. I think you’d be right at home over there: !CarnivoreKitchen@lemmy.world Someone already posted a gorgeous chuck roast.

I actually have a vegan in-law and whenever they come over, I make a vegan dish just for them. I personally think we can eat different foods and still pray together. Manchild? No, I think that’s quite mature and accepting.

And I’m Upvoting your post. It’s all love over here! I support the freedom speech. I actually like vegan recipes. When I cook one, I celebrate with a cheeseburger.

Indeed WE ARE…🍔🍔🍔

Well, it’s already hopping over here! Someone already posted an AMAZING chuck roast recipe and it looks so delicious! What’s your favorite meat recipe? Can you beat this one? https://lemmy.world/post/38206269

🥩 UPDATE! CARNIVORE KITCHEN IS LAUNCHED! All are welcome! Even the Vegan haters are already downvoting! Good times! 😂
🤌 😮💨 That looks amazing! And I don’t even eat Chuck Roast, but if I came to your house for dinner, I’d be leaving with a full belly and plate to take home. Note to self: Get a braiser.
Nutrition has so much to do with how our body develops, as kids, we don’t know! We’re just eating what our parents give us. We’re just at the table, glad it tastes good. It’s not until we leave home and learn that we realize while our parents and grand parents loved us, they didn’t always prepare the healthiest food. Holidays are an exception, but for most of the year, it’s best to stay away from our parents cooking unless they’ve switched to a healthier lifestyle!
