Yeah! I’ve had chronic depression for most of my life and I’ve noticed an improvement to it since taking vit D supplements, especially during winter months.
It’s not a fix, but it’s been a clear improvement for me.
Always looking for new music.

This and Imaginary Fire (feat Greg Puciato) off the same album are absolute bangers.

Yep I’m in the same boat. Loved the music but Billy’s not someone I’d want to be in the same room as. He’s not getting any more of my money.
I’ve got a used copy of Siamese Dream, and I’m only considering buying used copies of the other formative albums.

I think he’s always been this way. I don’t think any of his former bandmembers have much that’s nice to say about him.
The way it’s spread its feathers to soak up that sunlight brings me so much joy.

Remember when western media ridiculed Putin for referring to the invasion as a “military operation” and then used that exact same phrase about what Israel were doing in Gaza?

I’m trying to not make this sound cynical, but Spotify don’t care what consumers need. They care what shareholders want.

Even though I never got into Ramones, I still enjoyed the Redux albums. But the Pink Floyd, NIN, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden albums are incredible.
I’m really sorry you’re going through this. This is rough and I hope you and your wife both find a way through this.
Some thoughts from an internet stranger:
Your ADHD is not your fault. You mentioned not doing anything about it for around a year: please remember that ADHD affects your executive function. Maybe you feel like you could have done something earlier, but that’s part of the cruelty of executive dysfunction: we rationalise the inactivity (“I was lazy”, “I couldn’t be bothered”, etc.) because that’s easier to understand than accepting that for whatever reason your brain just couldn’t go there. You’re doing something now and that’s what matters.
Just because your relationship feels like it’s not good now, that doesn’t mean it can’t improve. It sounds like both of you are carrying a lot, and maybe for now the right thing is having space from each other. That’s sad, and feeling those feelings is valid and important. But that doesn’t mean the story is over for the both of you. Some other people here have mentioned couples therapy, and if that’s something you’re both interested in I’d also like to join in with recommending that.
It’s a crime, is what it is. Half that’s going down your shirt.
wtf is that? That’s gonna fall apart in 0.2 seconds.

On further reflection, I agree. It’s not for this counsellor to judge how her colleagues stand up against fascism.
Her stepping down is the right thing to do.

I’m familiar, yes. That’s why I said I’m torn about this.
There are different ways of showing intolerance of fascist rhetoric. I’m saying that while I support the motives of the counsellors who have walked out, I also empathise with this counsellor who stepped down because of her convictions regarding her duty as an elected official.

I’m really torn about this. I want the Greens to gain more places. I also support Green Party councellors in defending their values in a personal capacity.
But elected leaders are meant to represent, and by extension, listen to all of their constituents. Even those with morally repugnant views. Counsellors walking out of public meetings when someone raises anti-trans talking points is fundamentally incompatible with the democratic framework they were elected within.
Now, personally, I value doing The Right Thing (ie. not giving space to fascist rhetoric) over obeying the rules of the framework, but I empathise with this counsellor’s decision. Tactics like this will alienate a lot of potential voters, and if we want the Greens in a place of power to be able to enact systemic change we need to be winning people over, not pushing them away.
That’s not to say we should tolerate fascist rhetoric. There are other ways to push back against it than walking out.

I ran it through PictureThis, which suggests it’s Malabar Madhu Malati (Combretum malabaricum). It’d help to know rough location of this plant to be more accurate though.

That’s an excellent shot to show the goldcrest’s namesake!

Isn’t this true of basically any species in Australia? 😏
Nothing in the OP is false though. It’s encouraging a particular perspective.
