How long before they start checking under the floorboards?


As a Canadian I’m still naively holding out for some kind of resolution that improves conditions for ordinary people on both sides of the border. Or at least stabilizes them.
One of the most sombering lessons is how innocence is the first casualty. In the worst case scenario, no one can keep their hands clean by this conflict’s end.

I am once again ashamed at living in BC and being in proximity to Global News. What a terribly written article and piece of “journalism.” There’s not a single argument or connection on how or why the “research” was relevant to the decriminalization program OR the end of said program. Tons of claims everywhere but not a single bit of evidence or info for us to possibly connect them.


This contextual nuance is mostly lost or went over the heads of young learners today, for better or for worse. I like to think that’s why “they” was word of the year for a few dictionaries in the last decade or two, for the benefit of young and old alike.
Organizations seem to always have a love affair with religion because it’s such an easy tool to control the masses with. Might hafta target oppressive control structures and hierarchies first, or simultaneously, for people to be free from the blight of organized religion.
