I still have mine in it’s original box sealed. It’s my retirement plan.
boomer humour.
I use it without issue and frankly couldn’t live without the customisation of it now. The only problem I’ve had with the Steam Deck is the background recording no longer works (consistently) as far as I’m aware this is an issue with Steam/SteamOS and not because of Decky
If that is the case I could very well have misunderstood; my partner bought the 512GB and (as far as I know) didn’t receive the special profile, keyboards or intro video. Maybe they simply haven’t claimed them.
If you’re into cosmetics the only way (that I’m aware of) to get the fancy Steam profile stuff and special keyboards is to buy the 1TB version. If you’re interested in customising your Deck with themes, intro videos and the like the 1TB version is the way forward as space gets eaten up quickly.
It’s worth buying a screen protector and a small, fine paintbrush to dust out the grooves and vents.
Enjoy your Deck!
Good luck. I’ve been an eBay customer for almost 20 years and my recent experience with their customer service has been really frustrating. I’ve reached out at least five times about a manual refund request, and it still hasn’t been resolved.
Don’t get me wrong; when everything works smoothly, eBay is great. But when you actually need support, getting help can feel like an uphill battle.
approximately 1.66 thousandths of a percent of Google’s worth. They’ll feel that one…
FWIW I’ve played it almost entirely on the Steam Deck it works perfectly well. They did a great job.
The “excuse” is it is appealing to some and not you, which is fine. I personality love the art style (it’s what got me interested in Qud in the first place).
Yeash… 4 hours to swap the case? Absolutely striking that off my list. I’ll get as far as taking it apart and then I’d have solflocked myself lol. Looks great though!
Braid’s ending.
Tim (the player) is likely the villain. His quest was never about saving the princess but about his own selfish desire to reclaim something/someone that no longer wants him. The game masterfully subverts expectations, making players reflect on perspective, responsibility, and consequences.
you queue up all you like boss…
I love the self checkout. No bullshit small talk, no customers stood right behind you breathing down your neck and I can pack my shit without feeling better rushed. to me that’s invaluable…
Lol, OP is this in the UK? I have a feeling it might.
Feels so bad :(
Or Caves of Qud for a more adventure based game (I know DF has an adventure mode but goddamn is Caves of Qud good).
Your apparent argument is based off (wilful?) ignorance as to which publishers other than Ubisoft take part in this sort of practice and suggesting a boycott, which fixes nothing…
I’ve been fixated on Caves of Qud.
It took a while to get into, dying over and over is common. However it’s VERY fun. I think I’ve sunk 200+ hours into it already and I’m nowhere near finished with it.
