12·15 days agoMove to Germany, being disabled is not a crime here and education here is excellent, so is healthcare.
You know it’s not easy to just migrate to another country, right? Especially if you’re not rich.
Immigration rules are very strict. I doubt she could even get into Canada, much less Europe. Not to mention having to learn a whole new language.
Of course all this assuming she’s in the US, which could be a totally wrong assumption. If she’s already in Europe, then you have a point.

It takes years just to get good enough to learn the very basics, much longer to become good enough to draw anything like that Superman.
Fuck AI, but let’s not bullshit. Unless you have hours and hours to give for years, you’ll never be able to draw anything like you see in comic books.

You might think you know what they want and be totally wrong.
Asking never hurts. They can give you a list of options or say “whatever”, but you don’t have to be a baby about it.
If they say whatever, it just means they’re letting you know you don’t have to stress about it, but you should still make a genuine effort to get something they might want.

Or anyone who simply doesn’t want a smartphone. How do they get a job? Are you now forced to use a smartphone if you want to be a UK citizen?
The government has said it wants to ensure the scheme works for those who are not able to use a smartphone and will launch a consultation on how the service will be delivered later this year.
The new digital ID will be held on people’s phones, in a similar way to contactless payment cards or the NHS app.

This feels like PR bullshit to make people feel like AI isn’t all that bad. Assuming what they’re releasing is even true. Not like cigarette, oil, or sugar companies ever lied or anything and put out false studies and misleading data.
However, there are still details that the company isn’t sharing in this report. One major question mark is the total number of queries that Gemini gets each day, which would allow estimates of the AI tool’s total energy demand.
Why wouldn’t they release this. Even if each query uses minimal energy, but there are countless of them a day, it would mean a huge use of energy.
Which is probably what’s happening and why they’re not releasing that number.

Yes it looks wonky because the perspective doesn’t follow.
The sign’s horizontal lines should be following the building’s horizontal lines and they don’t.
So either the sign is fake or the beam above the sign is not straight or the sign isn’t straight and is tilted on one side.
