@otter @Cattypat , I don’t use Bazzite on any workstation, I have a desktop in my livingroom I use for gaming and watching movies. I use Bazzite on my Steamdeck as well. I see the potential for workstation function, but last I checked there is an exploit to bypass the PIN login rendering it a major security issue:

If you’re only gaming, not really a big deal. I would definitely stick to a standard distro. I use Fedora.
@Ace120C , well, after a super brief search, it seems like it can run Steam and thus game technically. However, the performance costs of stacking “emulation” on top of each other seems rather burdensome. If you’re running a Windows game on Proton, you have those call Windows-Linux conversions stacked on top of the x86_64-ARM call conversions. I can only speculate, maybe it’s not as big of a thing as I imagine it being.
@filister , I got my laptop from Dellrefurbished.com , honestly the best Linux laptop I have ever bought. It was only $200 at the time, I run Fedora on it. I have to admit I love the fact the BIOS updates properly and not too infrequently, sort of giving the feel of being supported if anything alone.
@Blisterexe @pineapple , after making a snapshot of VM. Sometimes, I do it just for fun and then roll back to the snapshot. Fun times.
@sudoer777 @1peter10 , but they can’t seem to keep the bots off it.
