  • I’ve been doing this for years in various setups. Windows, Linux, Mac (Mac using different shortcuts), different nice, different keyboards. It’s kind of up to you and how much that stuff messes with you. Current, long term setup, is ergonomic keyboard (Microsoft) on a MacBook pro. My hands distinguish keyboards well. Every now and again I don’t myself hiring the wrong shortcuts. Part of that is using the same keyboard on Mac and Linux though

    Stick with it. You get used to it, and ergonomics are absolutely worth the investment
