yeah fuck brietbart
i’ve seen other stuff about how they weren’t paying that employee the reward, the employee got threats and was fired… i dunno, jumping to nationwide facial scans from the app scanning thing isn’t too logical though….
they all have regular security cameras anyways, a cash register underneath view wouldn’t really help them much….
it’s not an uncommon sentiment for poorer non-artists… and this comic is pretty demeaning….
art and music have a long history of being dominated by people who come from money.
yes, you can make art all night and work all day, but working a full day is exhausting, mentally and often physically… not to mention commuting and cooking food and doing all of the other things people normally need to do….
try to take your band on tour without some money… totally possible, but a lot easier if you can just ask mom and dad for a few grand to fund it… and then being able to fall back on your trust fund makes pursuing an art career a lot less risky….
there’s a lot of nuance, and exceptions, but going from poor to successful artist takes a tremendous amount of work and dedication that rich people don’t have to worry about…
on top of all of that, have you ever looked at the prices of art supplies?
a lot of indie musicians and artists have trust funds and some people see that as being unfair and disingenuous….
i guess some idiots are trying to apply that logic as a rationalization of being an “ai artist”… and it doesn’t apply… but the point by itself is a thing
how about: the price of everything has been drastically going up while income has not, so instead of spending $20 for a meal at McDon’s, they’re buying a dozen eggs?
i thought an employee turned in Luigi, not facial recognition…
ok, assuming you’re sincere:
Without a decent math background, or at least statistics, it’s hard to explain…
post-covid conspiracy shit non-stop, i pretty much hate everyone that tries to talk about anything like this,
and especially anyone that links to a video podcast to explain something…
and to be a hypocrite, here is a great video, with actually reputable or at least educated people,
on an actually well established podcast, breaking down hard math, and computational statistical analysis
with actually informative graphs.
this is a founder of Election Truth Alliance, i’m starting the video when the slides start:
https://youtu.be/AWSWqn7UHYM?t=164
the two long/didn’t watch version is: in suspicious counties, they show this huge anomaly where after a certain amount of votes
are cast and counted, the percentage of votes starts to change in a way that no other election has shown… with the exception of 2020, and recently Russia and the country (not the us state) of Georgia (also highly suspected of russian tampering)
…
the law of large numbers shows that the first 10% of votes cast should roughly have the same results as 100% of votes cast… this is the basis for exit polls, btw… they don’t get everyone’s results on exit, but enough to give a very accurate prediction… this is also the basis of “quality control” testing a certain amount of things, but not all, before shipping them out…
…
so what’s apparent in the data analyzed, is it breaks the normal bell curve, a distribution seen in almost all of statistics of this nature, as is normally seen in all elections, everywhere in history… except for these votes for trump and the senate…
the normal bell curve IS seen for all other votes on the SAME ballots, cast by the same people… so people who voted democrat on everything else on the ticket, suddenly started voted for trump and a republican senate at the same time, anomalously, but voted normally for everything else…
after a certain amount of votes are cast, with democrats leading in highly populated democrat strongholds, they suddenly start shifting to trump getting 60% of the vote… it’s mathy so it’s hard to understand or communicate, but it’s mathematically impossible…
key, highly improbable points are:
Without a decent math background, or at least statistics, it’s hard to explain…
I doubt you “combed” through it, but rather skimmed over it…
and hell, post-covid conspiracy shit non-stop, i pretty much hate everyone that tries to talk about anything like that,

her examples are ironic because she keeps saying they’re ironic, making you expect them to be ironic, and then defying that expectation….
my dad told me like 5 dos commands, gave me permission to do whatever or break whatever on the home computer his work provided, told me there was some games on there but he didn’t know where… and i figured out the rest pretty much… whenever i broke it he’d just take it to work and bring it back fixed.
this was back in the wild wild west, where the hospital IT had one master hard drive image, and people threw random games and programs on there…
i was always surprised how ok he was with me breaking it weekly, but looking back on it i think he was proud…
i was really lucky in that i had free reign on yearly updated computers, starting on dos when i had just learned how to read, and growing up with that through all the versions of windows…
i mean, i hate microsoft and all, but i just think it’s crazy all of these people have super computers in their pockets and are afraid of the terminal….
it’d be hard to start a kid on the terminal first now, when they can use a touch screen in the crib….
my first computer didn’t even have pictures, but the next one did…
ah, so you’re a “i don’t believe you, will ask for sources, and then not look at them and continue to not believe you”.
have a nice day, sea lion
it absolutely was stolen:
https://electiontruthalliance.org/
and
https://old.reddit.com/r/somethingiswrong2024/
have the info you seek….
maybe i’m jaded but the only responses i get to this is “i know! and nothing can be done!”.
or “i don’t believe you, will ask for sources, and then not look at them and continue to not believe you”….
trump straight up bragged about it on stage even….
sorta like how rain on your wedding day is ironic…
i hoard glass containers but not plastic…
these damned activist judges…
limiting the absolute power of the president to be a dictator?
that’s just undemocratic…
some people voted for him… and sure there’s statistical impossibilities proving beyond all doubt that there was a coordinated effort to hack the election… like how trump flipped 88 counties and Harris flipped zero… and in some counties, after a certain time, suddenly a lot of people voted for trump while voting down the rest of the ballot democrat, which nobody would ever do… especially not coincidentally at the same time…
sure there’s all that, but the executive branch should have absolute, authoritarian power do do whatever they want and the existing laws should be interpreted to fit that….
damned activist judges… and george soros somehow too….
my dad gave me permission to break the family computer as much as i wanted, and he would just take it to work and reinstall everything from an image….
now i can fix computer problems
another example of: one of the best ways to teach children is to trick them.
try to force them to use linux and the terminal? booooring, hell no….
give them linux computers without games?
they’re 1337 haxors in two weeks… with skills that will help them for life….
especially if they ever get locked in a building with velociraptors….
is he a heeler? my heeler is always at my heels… the real annoying part is if i walk somewhere and turn around, he’s right there blocking me….
fractional distillation is just FFT for liquids…
i can’t even imagine a world where factories are okay for children to know about, but not natural human reproduction
budweiser was made weak to be net-hydrating for soldiers in wwii…
i definitely love a weak, light beer on a hot day… strong beer is for sunset
