Hm. I showed this to my husband, who immediately pointed out that it’s an anti-tank mine and thus couldn’t be foot-activated.
He’d be wrong, almost every Russian mine can be modified to AP use by changing the fuse some even have two fuse ports, one for AT and another that’s anti tampering/anti personnel.

Are we sure it creates a vacuum and not the opposite?
Depends on the detonation velocity and explosive force of the mine. If shockwave border is thick enough and travels at an appropriate speed, it will shove pretty much everything in front of it which leaves a vacuum.
I don’t know how AT-mines are constructed, but I assume they are on the slower side to generate more heat.
I need to get one of those, then build a distortion pedal into that, for an explosive sound.
Absolutelu gnarly idea. Though it might prove difficult to take it on a plane if you want to tour internationally.
