      To be fair, he didn’t actually prosecute Assange and he extended medical benefits to a lot of people who didn’t have it before. When you look at the mess that is US legislature, I’m surprised that he achieved any medical reforms.

        Eh… To be fair, he did have a period early on when Dems had a supermajority, and he did nothing with it.

        Obama was handed a Democratic supermajority, but the dems dropped the idea of a public option right away.

        The Dems couldn’t hurt their real constituents: the insurance companies. Obamacare was a huge boon to the health insurance industry and their shareholders.

        I remember the details quite vividly, as the medical bankruptcy that destroyed my life was started pre-ACA, but finalized post-ACA.
