It really depends how strict/observant they are. I had a friend who half-arsed it and did drink alcohol on occasion. He was horrified to discover that beers often use pork fat as an anticoagulant (despite the fact beer is also haram).
One of my favourite childhood food memories was my (jewish) grandmothers roast pork. It’s been 20 years since I last had it and I still haven’t had crackling that good.
