I have an Idea! Give turn signals two levels based on speed.
Low speed or stop - turn signal is a blinky light indicating the driver’s intention to turn.
High speed, like merging on highways or changing lanes - turn signal is a blinky light AND a flamethrower.

If you can’t pay attention to basic street signs OR your gps, you’re just gonna have to make a U-turn, I dunno what to tell you.
