Same as the Sherman and Clayton anti-trust acts, which is a big reason why we’re here now. So, so much of corporate America is patently illegal, and the feds have done fuck-all about it for decades.

It looks like they have capitulated, for now. It wouldn’t hurt to contact your local airport to object, and to organize peaceful demonstrations.

The airports that refuse to bend the knee have also released public statements condemning the video. Let’s show them our support! They are:

      Portland International

      Seattle-Tacoma International

      Buffalo Niagara International

      Niagara Falls International

      Westchester County

Spokane international is on the list as well which is a little surprising as that is an area that favors Republicans in elections.

Glad to hear Denver isn’t doing it. It’s bad enough that these evil pieces of shit are pushing government propaganda, but there is no reason that major airports in blue states should go along with it.

I’d love to see a real instance of “The Storm” if Democrats were to get back in the WH…issue warrants for every single one of those responsible for shit like this.

Arrest every single one of those in his cabinet. Arrest everyone in his family.

I know the pearl-clutching “centrists” will cry about “tone” and “civility” and how this is only going to make Republicans worse. Fuck that. Make Republicans motherfucking SCARED to try this kind of shit again. As they should be.

What is the Republicans end game here? Democrats aren’t going to vote for his bill without getting anything in return. Why would anyone think otherwise.

They are already vilified by Republicans, so it isn’t like they have anything to lose. If the Democrats cave, they will just be vilified by Democratic voters, too.

Yeah, you’re right, the average republican voter thinks that democrats are vile, hateful, literally evil people that want to end their way of life… but they also can’t point to something major is going to ruin their life in the next two months. Fuck with all those fools’ health insurances, and every other service that’s going to be sputtering in the gutter, and now you have the whole, “society is only [X] meals away from anarchy/revolution/chaos,” AND you have the army of fools ‘rising up’ pointed at your political enemies for the thing they’re now mad specifically about, rather than just generally.

It’s also just part of their general faux news schtick: repeat the same thing, over and over. In this case, it’s that democrats are the bad guys and at fault for everything. Can’t let up the propaganda stream, or the people might start having independent thoughts in those heads. Maybe those thoughts would be that the republicans aren’t on their side, or maybe that capitalism isn’t benefiting any of them… so better keep it up.

I mean, it feels like Repubilicans have gone too far on this one. It’s just becoming noise. No one believes the Republicans anymore. Someone neutral could ask, “If you want the Democrats to vote for it, what did you do to get their vote?” And the response would be, “Nothing.”

You and I wish. I am in a red area, and the only thing that has changed in the last 10 months is that some people who were sucking orange man’s virtually present dick are now also returning to saying that ‘politicans are bad,’ which is how they compartmentalize the pedophilia. Three guesses who they think are the pedophilic politicians.

They want/need more vilification. The further they vilify, the further they can go on things like project 2025.

Eg you can say they vilified the left 10 years ago, but 10 years ago they wouldn’t have gotten away with deploying the national guard. They get away with it now because of the last 10 years of vilifying even more. Now imagine what they’ll be able to do in the next 5 to 10 years.

Have you ever known a child who could manipulate his parents by being stubborn and annoying. The parents are incapable of setting boundaries and caving to the child’s demands is easier than having difficult discussions.

Republicans are the children and Democrats are the patents. The parents are now trying to set a boundary. Expect an epic tantrum from the children.

tbh I could also easily see a ton more not playing it but opting not to publicize the fact that they aren’t playing it (ignored media request for comment).

That and not all airports even have TVs setup by the TSA checkpoint, or they’re hardly used.

“This is probably not a Hatch Act violation, because it’s not tied to an election,” Cynthia Brown, senior ethics counsel at the non-partisan ethics watchdog Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), told Forbes.

I know koalas are sleepy bastards, but at least try reading the article. They aren’t showing the video due to policies that forbid advertising that names any particular political party. They aren’t taking a moral stand, they’re just following normal boring guidelines.

How many laws do they need to break in order for something to actually be done? They are clearly mentally ill and none of them are based in reality, so we need to get them out of office.

None of this is ok and none of this is normal.

That is a mental illness. These people have a serious hoarding disorder, and they can’t stop accumulating money. They have enough money that neither they, nor their descendants for the next century could possibly spend it all, and yet they will still walk through fire, or hire someone else to, to get even more.

If those people hoarded cats, or rusty cars, or newspapers, or general junk, we would get mental health care for them, and dismantle their collection. Psychopathic Oligarchs are no different. We should involuntarily commit them to mental hospitals to treat their hoarding issues, confiscate the bulk of their treasure, and keep them from rebuilding their fortunes.

Turns out all the people in positions of power who swore an oath to protect our nation are feckless cowards.

The people are going to have to do this or it isn’t happening.
