The far-right congresswoman has increasingly broken ranks with the MAGA movement, leading even Donald Trump to wonder ‘What’s going on with Marjorie?’

Marjorie Taylor Greene has hit out at her fellow Republicans for “doing nothing” about rising food and healthcare costs in her latest breach with the Trump administration.

In an interview with the conservative broadcaster Real America’s Voice on Tuesday, the Georgia congresswoman warned that letting Joe Biden’s Affordable Care Act subsidies expire at the end of the year would “crush” Americans’ finances.

Those subsidies are now at the heart of a government shutdown that’s lasted 15 days and counting. Senate Democrats are demanding the subsidies be extended as a condition of reopening the government while Republicans are refusing to budge.

    I like how she’s changing but republicans have always screwed the working class. I guess she’s just figuring out what her party is about. I’m in full support of her calling out both parties for allowing Israel to buy their loyalty with AIPAC money though

    MTG’s approach to politics is to say the most outrageous shit to gain attention and clout. She has no principles at all, other than “Any publicity is good publicity”.

    Right now, she’s being crowded out by all the other Republicans like Nancy Mace, Pam Bondi, Kristi Noem etc. being just as crazy as she is. She can’t go any crazier without losing support, so she has to pivot in the opposite direction in order to stand out and get the media’s attention like she used to.

    It’s working, by the way. Until she started saying this stuff, did you see anything from MTG? I didn’t.

    We know that brain damage decreases empathy, what causes the opposite? What happened to her? There’s no way that she figured out that she’ll be out of a job because she’s a woman.

    Her words are hardly “breaking with the Trump administration” if you read the article. At least that’s how I’m looking at it. She’s saying why aren’t we Republicaning harder.

      Nah… she wants a future political career outside the house, but apparently the crazy laser woman game only works in her current district of burn-the-world-down rednecks…

      Now that she helped set the world on fire and the polls are in, she’ll change tack like an everyday boring sleazy politician.

              It’s not perfectly aligned with your comment, I’ll give you that.

              The republican party is still the best fit for space laser lady, only because it is the only party where conspiracy nutjobs stand a chance.

              She doesn’t give a flip about fixing the republican party, but purely about her polling and chances in the future. That she is capable of this pivot suggests that there is more sleazy politician to her than nutjob. Neither is praiseworthy.

    Weirdest ally ever.

    But people should make no mistake this woman is no friend to liberals or liberal ideas she is a populist. She goes with what she thinks is popular. Not unlike Trump.

    She is also an entrenched homophobic antisemitic racist. So, there’s that.
