A lot of the people that harp on about the bathroom thing don’t think about the day to day of actually living as a woman. For a lot of them most of their hate admittedly comes from sexual insecurity and being terrified of the idea that they might find themselves attracted to, and finally get a woman to agree to date them only to find out she’s “secretly a man” as they’d put it and that it “makes them gay” actually.

But like the bathroom thing? A lot of them don’t believe trans women actually live as women. They can’t imagine it. They can only think of it through the lens of what they would do given the “power” of being able to tell people they identify as a woman and having that identity respected. That they would go into women’s bathrooms and perv on women in there then just go back to being a man.

So obviously that’s what all of these so-called “trans women” must be doing too. After all, my trusted news sources are telling me that you can always tell so that person I saw the other day must have been one of them “transgenders” (it wasn’t, just idk… someone like my wife. A tall cis woman that used to be rather fat)

That’s one of the reasons it so often takes a close family member being trans for there to be even a chance they change their tune. They have to see first hand that no, it’s not a fetish, it’s not some ploy to perv on women in the bathroom. That it’s FAR from just “Walk into gender clinic. Tell doctor am gril.” and Doc says “Fantastic! Here’s some titty skittles, give me just a second to get my dick chopping scissors. Let’s build you a vagina!” they have to see how genuinely happy this person is just… living as their authentic self. Many of them still don’t, but the few that do change their mind have to experience it directly.
