Wait, you guys are setting profile pics?

I simply don’t care enough.

On social media where it’s only anons from all around the internet, I put a silly picture like here.

But on social media where my friends or my family are, I won’t put my face because hell no, and I won’t put something silly either because it’s hard enough to look normal.

I rarely use thoses social media so I’m fine without a profile picture at all.

This is a place to be part of a crowd, not really about being recognized. I’m not here to make personal friends, nor a following.

I’m here for news and discussion. This doesn’t really require recognizability between threads

I like not being particularly recognizable. Treat me like everyone else that you don’t know.

I do have a profile picture, but I don’t think it’s crucial. Other link aggregators often don’t have profile pictures so if you’re used to those, you may not think to set one. In any case I’ve never thought anyone’s profile picture on here was particularly consequential to me.

I have been meaning to for over a year, Im just too lazy busy to get around to it.

I never look at anyone else’s profile/picture. They aren’t shown anywhere obvious in Voyager app.
