    • AI bubble will pop when the datacenters that are financed to be completed in the first quarter fail to meet their deadlines, and continue to fail to meet them mid-year. Banks will pull loans, and rapidly, the dominoes will fall. I doubt OpenAI will survive 2026 (fingers crossed), Nvidia may, since theyre actually shipping products and making sales off the bubble - they’ll take a big hit, as will Microsoft, Google, Facebook. It will cause a worldwide recession if not a financial crisis. 75% chance by EOY.

    • Trump will die. His health has circled the drain for years, and there’s only so many medical interventions that can be applied. 50% chance.

    • I’ll finally wash my car (been putting it off all 2025), 95% chance.

I might get my wife pregnant if we decide to start trying for it this year. Maybe a good 75-80%? Our blood tests are coming out fine, so God willing we will be blessed if we let nature run its course. 👍

Life is truly so unfair when it comes to kids. Like you seem to have thought all this out, and even have blood tests to monitor shit. Then there are people like me who was crossing my fingers praying that I wasn’t the tiny percentage that would end up with a pregnancy after even using a condom and/or using other birth control measures. I applaud your efforts, I hope you find everything you wish for when it comes to having children. 17-25 I just remember being worried all the time.

Thanks, friend, your words are very kind and touching. My mom had a lot of complications having me, I know shit can get rough whether you want them or not, hopefully it’s easier for us. May life also bring you what you wish for! ❤️

Just keep in mind that you’re planning on bringing a child into a world where 90% of the planets arable land will be depleted by 2050, global fresh water demand will exceed supply by 40% by 2030 and 7 of 9 planetary boundaries have now been breached, so within the next 25 years billions of people will die in massive droughts and famines, and the oceans will be so acidic that the phytoplankton that produce 50 to 80% of the worlds oxygen won’t survive.

Oh and there’s a chance for a double Blue Ocean Event this year too.

I’m gonna end up as canon fodder when the fascists comes for Greenland. I’m quite good at handling rifles and pistols as I’m a active member of the local shooting range but do to a serious accident I can’t run any more.

US starts floating the idea of invading Canada for fresh water*

Trump says something rambly about the important development of AI requiring it

americans cheer it on because “we needed the water and now we have it, what’s bad about that?”

*specifically this reason, nvm the threats of invasion that have already happened

GPUs will get more expensive as the VRAM will be diverted to much more profitable datacenter GPUs during the RAM shortage.

    • RAM prices will continue to rise for at least the first half of the year, just going on the fact that I’ve read plenty of statements to that extent and no disagreement.

    • The Democrats will win control of the House in the US in the midterm elections. That’ll set off a number of investigations which will have Trump and Trump cabinet members spending a lot of time in House hearings, and news about that will be a major news item for the next two years, as the parties angle for political advantage there.

    • xAI will not build an artificial general intelligence. Elon Musk will, following tradition, issue a new prediction as to how AGI is imminent and maybe one more year down the road.

    • The Trump administration will not invade Canada or Greenland. Trump will continue to suggest that he might whenever a topic comes up that he doesn’t want news coverage of, the present undesirable topic being the expiring ACA subsidy and people’s healthcare prices going up.
