Do it!
You all have a favorite song?! Been listening to a lot of Kings Of Convenience as of late though. Very Peaceful in those rather turbulent times.
This is good. I really like this
8/10
Favorite is an impossible question. There is so much good music that is incomparable.
So instead here’s a track I’ve been vibing to for a while now:
And if you prefer, here’s a track I’ve specifically been vibing to *lately*:
These are fantastic. You have great taste in music!
Both songs are a 9/10
thanks for gassing me up :3
feel free to peruse my grotesquely bloated “Current obsession - Japan” playlist: https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1qp2kWRqMd77nsVXr2jG5um4DpMWNn5Y
Also Cody Fry (and the guitarist on that track, Cory Wong) is all around fantastic and worth a dive
I’ll surely be checking your playlist out. Thanks👍
Sorry I am late
Swastik the band - Jogi - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OD7d1e1mwyQ
I usually like the music more than lyrics, but most of my favorites are lyricals, and this has best of lytrics and the music. there is flute, guitar, indian classic and western stuff all mixed. It is my daily alarm.
This was fantastic. Beautifully produced and well orchestrated with a good MV too
9/10
19 fucking mins i can’t listen to it all gang😭🙏
Ah man. Always so relevant. Ancient but ever present present.
Listening to this version I think the mastering could be better. The intro is killer and haunting, but the bass is blown out at 1:37. You have to be careful with this song and NOFX always knew that if you listen to the original album version. Its got a point to make and if you take it too lightly you can’t make the point. Like I’d really like to hear this without the audience noise and maybe not a full orchestra, just the bass and brass section. The winds and percussion (especially the xylophone) are too light-hearted.
I actually prefer this version over the album version. Sure, the sound could be improved here and there. But it’s punkrock in the end. Doesn’t need to be perfect.
Something completely different: My favorite of the week
Eden - by Hania Rani
https://tidal.com/browse/track/192326406?uBeautiful song. Very relaxing.
8/10
Not bad. A bit plain for me though.
6/10
I think that is fair. The band certainly has some more iconic things. There is something about the feeling of this song that gets me. I can’t put my finger on it, not quite nostalgia. Almost like what Auld Lang Syne is supposed to elicit but it actually elicits it for me with this song.
It kinda needs the buildup of the album for the full effect tho
Based Quadeca enjoyer
10/10 as always 🗿
Quadinky does it once again. 11/10 no notes
I swear, he’s taken over all my playlists lol, just can’t find that sound elsewhere :3
Leprous - The Sky Is Red https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aR0FC3vikF0
Fantastic song. I believe this is prog rock. I really enjoyed it
8/10
Heeey you’re right, it is very proggy! Glad you enjoyed it
Debaser - Pixies
Not bad. I will say that I’ve come to like much punchier rock music than the classic rock flavour. I could’ve seen myself enjoying this much more back in my ACDC phase—which wasn’t that long ago tbh
I give 6/10
Rhythm is a dancer.
The rhythm was somewhat dry for my tastes, but i still danced nevertheless haha!
6/10
Hope your dance never leaves you.
Wth is this song😂.
10/10 for based lyrics 🗿
Not bad. I feel like I’ve heard too much of this style of rock though and have grown tired of it.
5/10
Thanks for responding! This has been a good casual conversation.
Leave the light on-Papa Roach
Great song with beautiful vocals.
7/10
Hans gruber and the die hards - we’re all gonna die
Not bad. Fairly catchy
6/10
Hard to pick a favorite song because it depends on my mood, but this is a goodie.
Bad bunny is always a treat to listen to. This particular song makes me feel like i should be in the club. The constant beat switches also add to that giving it that DJ vibe.
Solid 9/10
