I don’t understand why we can’t just Truman show him. He’s got no idea what’s going on anyway so just fly him around on air force 1 to various places, have some actors “interview” him and every time he starts going on about taking over Greenland or whatever his next obsession is, just telling him you’ve done it. Is not like he’s going to check.
Every time he’s getting a bit much for everyone just encourage him to go to his golf course, so we can get a week’s rest.
