People make mistakes everywhere, but in America/much of the West even the concept of objective rights and wrongs are debatable, which allows for even more amoral excesses. This is why their discourse revolves around whether things are “constitutional” or “legal”, because objective morality is not in their psyche, so saying right and wrong doesn’t come naturally to them.
I mean, yes, monotheists like Moses and Jesus also spoke about objective truths, rights and wrongs (“thou shalt not kill” etc etc). Of course it sounds like nonsense to you, lol, if it didn’t we wouldn’t be where we are!
The other day he assured me that I molest children because it’s just in my nature. I don’t ever recall diddling a kid, but he must be right because who am I to argue against nature.
