Ahhh Americans and their weeks starting with Sunday …
Whaaaaaaaaaaaa??? I’m 42, way overexposed to American pop culture and news, and i did not know that. What on earth??? Excuse me, i have some reading to do
our calendars are all Sunday to Saturday but everyone I know views the week as Monday to Sunday.
Most US Americans consider Monday the first day of the week
It never made sense to me. In a country that gets so hard on the bible, why is Sunday, the day of rest, the first day of the week?
I assume it has something to do with the Sabbath being on Saturday in Judaism.
Yeah, work week starts on sunday in Israel
It’s big on the concept of the bible, they really only get hard for the parts that allow them to subjugate and denigrate other people.
Robert Stamford Tuck called it “one bloody long Monday morning”.
Its meant to be cold next week, too.
It’s not surprising because time is an illusion and we haven’t woken up to committing to the uprising yet. We’re still just hoping for some Luke Skywalker feller to show up and take out the sith of this realm.
Our calendar is so fucked up, as a programmer I sometimes have to explain to users that the program actually works correctly and they just forgot that the first week of 2026 is supposed to start in 2025.
Nevermind the Y2K bug, how many man hours have been wasted wrangling binary code to the Gregorian Calendar?
