Don’t know the laws there, but in Texas, white signs represent things regulated by laws and have legal repercussions while yellow signs are just warnings or notices.
- Drive 45 passing a white sign that says 35: get a ticket
- Drive 45 passing a yellow sign that says 35: probably trying to warn you about a curve, condition, wildlife, or intersection. Slow down if you’re feeling cautious.
vote 47, go direct to heaven, y’all!!!
…driving the shoreline highway in marin county, i learned that when the posted advisory says 5, they f*cking mean it…
I once drove through a trailer park that said 9½, and I wasn’t sure what to make of that. I know that it’s meant to catch your attention, but what a useless fucking number to choose.
Looks like they’re blocking that driveway.
maybe was a driveway once, now it’s a sidewalk adjacent to a business
could anyone explain these signs for me?
They seem to give contradictory info? Can I park for five minutes or an hour during the day?
Hard to say when we cant see the whole sign
I can! This is Seattle. The yellow sign only applies to the yellow curb. If the curb isn’t colored, or there isn’t a sign with an arrow, saying no parking beyond this, then the white and green sign applies.
Seconded.
Replied to the main comment!
if you’re ticketed make an appointment with a magistrate & your fine will likely be reduced or even entirely dismissed
I read this way too British of sentence to apply in Seattle but I see you’re right
A few thousand well placed Luigi’s could save America.
I could go for a 5 minute load right about now…
