More correctly, it would’ve been the British Raj at this time, but that’s a pretty broad area.

I love seeing comparison photos of “Then vs Now”, anyone know where this is?
There’s a diner in a nearby city that has photos on the wall of places around town dating all the way back to the late 1800s, and the ones from the 1950s and earlier are pored with current photos from the same spot, or as close as can be replicated anyway. It’s pretty neat.
