I feel like using AI for memes is like cooking food with a flamethrower. They are much better when they are obviously low-effort. GenAI images try really hard to hide how little effort was involved in their creation.
yeah, this one is just repulsive, I agree with that.
however it kind of feels like those pieces of art that are purposefully repulsive, like a kid with a rat in mouth or something. It’s kind of complicated enough for AI-metairony-proAI-antiAI-memes to be a sick form of art. It just got to be, like, purposeful, I guess. Once you can’t explain it really, it starts working.
Someone told me that art is something that is created in an act of destroying the previous answer to question “what is art?”
