      In 2023 there were 772 LNG carriers in the world. Most of them will obviously not run Russian LNG, so this actually hurts.

      No, not “anyway” in this case. An LNG carrier isn’t just a barrel with an engine like oil tankers. These are more rare, more complicated and more difficult to replace machines.

        Exactly. Natural gas is transported as a liquid, at temperatures of roughly -160 degrees Celsius or -260 degrees Fahrenheit. It takes a pretty serious refrigeration system to maintain those temperatures on a tanker.
