I’m actually just now realizing that I’ve been assuming that archive.today is affiliated with archive.org, like a url specific to link sharing in the way it is commonly used.
So I’m not necessarily making a statement about the veracity of what is alleged in this article, but I definitely view the service differently than I did.
That site has been caught altering content so it’s no archive.
I haven’t trusted them since they started poisoning cloudflare dns because they didn’t like the fact that cloudflare made it harder to track visitors
Please share examples because that is wild.
