I’m an english speaker who also speaks spanish and the articles being so numerous is such bullshit. It’s one of the things i regularly fuck up even though the rest of my speech is fairly fluent.
That and the gender of nouns.
normally i just breeze by articles in sentences but now i am getting caught up on EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. and stopping to think whether this The is male, female, plural, bullshit. also
