On Reddit, yes. To the point where I’ve actually had to self-censor a lot of my comments and tip-toe around certain topics to avoid my comments being nuked from orbit by Automoderator.
Lemmy? Not really.

I’m being self-censored. Working for a very large corp that has a long list of topics I’m not supposed to discuss, and I’m pretty good at not talking about them under my real name. I’m quite certain that my anonymous comments may also be traced back to me, but the HR doesn’t care about those.
Nope, only limited by stupid people.

Only due to self-censorship.
Would I know if I was?
There are certain topics I have to self censor about on Lemmy for fear of moderator action.
Lemmy is supposed to be anti censorship bro I got pushed to 4chan from getting censored literally anywhere else. All I wanted was to talk about mario and lugia
Nope
No need. We have corporate mind control which tricks people into thinking only brown people are terrorists, non nato states are barbarians and socialism doesnt work, etc.
We even have accounts on lemmy who exclusively post nato propaganda and use multiple accounts to cancel dissent.
if the comment below this one is, then yes.

Maybe? I keep getting “Rule 1” and “Rule 2” errors when I post something on .ml. I was going to create an issue on GitHub about it, but I just haven’t gotten around to it.
Guys… it’s pixelated 😨
