I have a long running DnD 5e game tonight, and on Fridays I’m running DC20 (which is similar heroic fantasy, currently in beta but still lots of fun)
How was?!
I’m a fan of the Palladium games, much more of the universes than the system, especially Rifts, after the bomb & TMNT, and beyond the supernatural
If I could find players for them I’d be running three or four games. Sadly I only have players for one, currently playing Rifts, but switching over to turtles once the Kickstarter new versions arrive
RIFTS has a certain “Je ne sais quoi” that you really can’t get in other games, even Savage RIFTS doesn’t do it. It’s this horror game masquerading as a power fantasy where the mechanics are as hard to handle as the in game tech but with the right GM it’s a masterpiece of high powered insanity.

Ah, yes. The system where you need multiple "session 0"s to get those character sheets in order. Also, there’s a suspicious lack of Robotech in that list. ;)

Wait, what? Palladium games got in on the reboot craze too?!
I played a lot of robotech back in the day, but never bought the books or ran a game
The updates are polishing the old rules. It’s not a significant change, just clears up where they were ambiguous
What are the other two?
Blades in the Dark and Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying
Proud of you. Now going for an all-technocratic party game?
Maybe one day, let’s see how well Mage chronicle goes.
How’d it go? Did you use a module?
not many modules for Mage, we did session of character awakenings and early interactions.
Yeah, I figured there wouldn’t be. Still, awesome, I hope you all had a great time with the awakenings.

I think the grammatical inaccuracy is part of the meme template
If it is, then I’ve only seen the worst uses of it. That’s the first I’ve heard of it being like that intentionally.
