Lol, I think you may have a problem with reading comprehension.
Lol, I think you may have a problem with reading comprehension.
Lol, I don’t know why you’re so butt hurt. I never said it was superior for pour overs, or that I couldn’t understand why someone would buy your favored contraption. I just said it suits my purposes.

Why do they always look like they volunteered to be hall monitors in highschool?
That’s the fairy tale we teach to perpetuate the ugly reality. Since the late 19th century the police have evolved to replace the privatized security wealthy magnates used to have to hire at their own expense.
Instead of spending a small fortune to hire the pinkertons or burns security, the wealthy of America developed a way to socialize the expense of systemically abusing workers and protecting the status quo.
It’s pretty obvious what the intent and purpose of police really are when you look at the chain of custody of people facing trial. During the process of arrest and sentencing, police officers have the lowest education requirement but the most leeway to influence your future.
Prosecutors, clerks, and judges all have set rules that dictate the limitations of their decisions. However, the police have the ability to simply not arrest anyone, or arrest a completely innocent person. What else is an attack dog without a trainer or leash but a weapon of terror?
You can leave it on all the time or have it shut off after it reaches temp. It doesn’t really use much energy either way because they are so well insulated. Mine has vacuum insulation that can keep the water to temp for about half a day, and if you want to bring it back to temp you just have to reheat it a few degrees. The vast amount of energy used to bring water to a boil in the beginning of the heat cycle.
I mean this is a premium brand with added import mark ups. But yeah, pretty standard in most homes in Korea, China and Japan at least.
East Asia is cold as fuck in the winter time and typically drink a lot more hot beverages and soup/noodles than westerners. Plus, Japan where these things are absolutely everywhere only uses 100 volt in their power grid, so a kettle would take even longer than in the US.
Works for my uses. You can set a precise temp and it has a setting where the nozzle mimics a gooseneck kettle. But tbh I don’t do a lot of pour overs, I usually just use my French press.
Nah, mine actually has a specific setting for pour overs.
Depends on your electric output and how often you do hot beverages/noodles . But we prob use about two to three liters a day, which would take quite a bit of time with 120v.
Also, you can get some that only run like a hundred bucks.
We only run 120v here, so it takes forever to heat up a decent amount of water. Plus, we drink a lot of hot drinks. We prob go through two to three liters a day.

Apparently three separate video angles and testimony from half a dozen witnesses is no longer enough evidence to conduct an investigation…
You savages have to wait for hot water? Why not join all of East Asia in the future and get yourself one of these? Four liters of perfectly temped hot water anytime you want… I honestly don’t know how people who drink a lot of hot beverages live without them.
I feel like 10-15 years ago Waffle House was a really decent greasy spoon diner for the money. I remember being able to get an all star special for five bucks. I just looked it up and they’re wanting $13-14 now…

Tbf she’s not actually wealthy. Her father was at one point, but his business empire collapsed into debt. She’s just a heiress with no inheritance who had lots of connections with wealthy people.

See your honor… We’ve run into a problem. They actually don’t even make jails for rich white women.

Pretty much all international law is mostly a fictional construct, especially for major powers. Legality is dictated from the pulpit, and there is no overruling globalized government.
However, imo pretty much anything that a secret court dictates is a legal fiction dreamed up to legitimize illegal/morally decrepit actions.
How would that be handled?
The same way the current predicament will be… There may be some geopolitical blowback, but no one is going to hold anyone accountable.

International law is based on jurisdictional control based on sovereignty. Meaning that crimes committed in a country are handled by the country of origin, unless the countries in question have an extradition policy with each other.
For example, how do you think Americans would respond if China put out a warrant on Trump or any other American representative and then sent in a special ops team to extract them?
Even when looking at the situation purely from the American court system… It’s going to be a hard case for any prosecutor to really present. The warrant was put out by grand jury, where the justice department doesn’t really have to present any real evidence and there is no defense.
Generations have grown old and died saying they will stop abusing animals when lab meat comes out.
This argument still doesn’t make any kind of logical sense. The meat industry isn’t dangling labgrown meat in front of people as a way to avoid regulation.
If labgrown meat can get a significant amount of people to stop eating real meat because of things like cost, then it’s a beneficial technology.
And if you don’t care about animal abuse, then WTF do you care about lab meat for??
I mean there is the environmental factor… Also, liking labgrown meat more than beans doesn’t mean you don’t care about animal abuse.
You want to pay more for a worse product because you’re just such a good consumer droid???
Lol, people are allowed to have preferences. I’m sure you spend money on bullshit that other people don’t like.

Resisting arrest, I think. “You’re under arrest, come out of the house” “No” is literally what it means to resist arrest (without violence). Coming out later doesn’t absolve you of it any more than slowing down absolves you for speeding earlier.
Police cannot lawfully order you out of your home without an arrest warrant or exigent circumstances (like seeing blood through the window). You can’t be charged with resisting arrest for failing to comply with an unlawful order. They can try, but it would be easily thrown out in court.
Staying in the protection of her home would have just gotten her home busted up once they secured the warrant.
If they got the proper warrant… Cops lie all the time.
dude. I was just trying to send you a video to help you understand
You have no idea what you’re talking about and are unable to provide a meaningful interpretation or legal advice based on what you see in a video.
I remember now why I stopped talking to you back before when we talked about this.
Yeah… Please continue to not talk to me.
A state could still claim you as a resident if you meet certain criteria. You don’t get to unilaterally decide if you are a resident or not.
Plus, what’s the point of wanting billionaires to stay in your state if they aren’t being taxed?
