I’m late to this thread, but 100% Jadzia Dax. She’s old and young, knows how to have a good time, doesn’t take things too seriously, but has loads of guts and grit.

And also Kira Nerys. Tough, doesn’t take any shit, isn’t afraid to advocate for things she cares about. But also warm and hopeful.

Thumbs down to Crystal Pepsi for me, but I really loved Pepsi Kona.

Inside a box of wet wipes. Take out half the wipes, put the money (inside a baggie) in the tub, put some of the remaining wipes on top, and chuck it the storage bin under the bathroom sink with the extra shower liners and that value-sized jug of hand soap. It’s such a mundane place that most people wouldn’t think to look there. And the remaining wet wipes could go in a baggie in your pocket, so there’s no evidence the wipes were tampered with.

Yeah somehow Microsoft dodged it in 2001 which is pretty mind-boggling because they were supreme at that point

Ah, the beans-to-jeans pipeline.

I have brain fog due to perimenopause. I used to be so smart - I have degrees in physics and statistics - and now I have to use a calculator for basic arithmetic. I’ll start a sentence and my train of thought will just evaporate. And when I try to concentrate on anything even a little bit complex, I lose track of my thoughts, it’s like there’s TV static where my thoughts belong.

And yeah, then the self-recriminations begin, plus a deep frustration that feels desperate and almost like rage and grief mixed together. And partly I think that’s an overreaction, but then again, I’m not sure it is.

It’s horribly depressing to go from smart to dumb. And I know my situation isn’t nearly as bad as yours, but please know you have my sympathy. It really sucks and I hope it gets better for you soon. 🤍

So stupid and performative, and the catsuit “uniforms” they put them in were insulting. Jesus christ.

Short to medium length, I guess. I’m rough on my nails so I have a hard time growing them very long without breaking them. But they do grow quickly (thanks to biotin!) so they don’t stay short for very long.
