At this point, blue areas of the country just need to stop paying federal taxes entirely and use the taxes to just better themselves and themselves only. Starve the federal government. A lot of people are saying that, but those are people willing to do anything for him and Elon. It’s not an accurate description of what the average American citizen thinks. I think the average American just wants a stable economy and freedom to live how we want to and he’s not giving us that. I’d also argue that the average American would want to own a house that they could afford to pass down and be able to afford raising a family, and don’t want to be pushed into a rental market for the rest of their lives. You know, the American dream.

I only order from Doordash if I’m sick and don’t feel comfortable being out in public. (Especially if I’m not sure if it’s Covid) I usually order the same things because if I’m sick, I want food I don’t have to make for myself that wouldn’t disappoint me if I couldn’t taste it well enough.
It’s also ridiculously difficult if not impossible to process a legal name change on your account, unlike a real bank. This means that married women, people who changed their name to avoid unsafe family members, and trans people are basically just not able to have accounts under their new legal names unless they’re willing to just make a new account if they can’t get anywhere with support. Supposedly, all you need is your legal documents, but I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about how convoluted they make it in practice.
When I was a teenager, I suffered from paranoia of being watched because my parents watched everything I did on the internet. As an adult, now it’s the government. Fantastic.
Stuff like this is going to make people mostly pay in cash and buy gift cards as needed. I already started buying most of my things in person anyway just to avoid paying for shipping. I’m seriously considering only buying steam games with gift cards I buy at the store and avoiding using my card as much as possible.

I think I would have a harder time because they want people still pay taxes when they live overseas, and would reject me just because I don’t want my taxes to go to bad things.
If there was a way to withhold my tax dollars to the federal government and only pay state taxes without getting trouble with the IRS, I would do it in a heartbeat. I’m already fucking disgusted that my tax dollars likely helped fund worse things like “Alligator Alcatraz.”

Did you know that if you get a blood transfusion and the donor is trans, you’re exposed to enough hormones that you can become trans too? It’s way too dangerous to get a blood transfusion these days. /s
(Using this as an example specifically because I know trans people who were turned away from giving blood in the first place, including a trans girl I used to date. She was assumed to have a significantly more risky sexual history than she actually did, and I’m also negative for HIV)
