50 sounds like a correct number of trans women interested in playing competitive badminton

what about trans men interested in playing competitive juggling? are we just going to erase them?

what about nonbinary people who dislike cooking? have you forgotten about them completely???

and you haven’t even mentioned your opinion on waffles, do you hate them?

          …

the conversation was about trans women and badminton, not other things

You made the claim they were roughly equal in strength. Do you have any sources on that? Because the science says otherwise.

                    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7846503 https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/early/2021/02/28/bjsports-2020-103106

                    • after 24 months of testosterone suppression, bone mass is generally preserved
                    • no study has reported muscle loss greater than 12% with testosterone suppression even after three years of hormone therapy
                    • trans women are in the top 10% of females regarding lean body mass and possess a grip 25% stronger than most females

If these aren’t unfair advantages, IDK what is.

      • 730,500 are trans women (0.21%)

No stats I can find, so I’ll just go with anecdotes: I know 2 people who play badminton from family, friends & extended, so that’s roughly 2 / 80 people. Let’s use that as a background

          730k * 2 / 80 = ~ 18200 trans women, rounding down

very good, let’s combine our results:

              0 + 18200 / 2 = 9,100 trans women playing badminton in the US

For some reason I thought there’d be way more trans women than trans men, probably because trans women are brought up so much more often.

You’d think so, but a lot of that has to do with trans women getting much more attention because of the idea that trans men are “poor vulnerable girls that have been brainwashed into mutilating their bodies by groomers” and trans women are “the groomers” so the former is a tragic afterthought to the latter’s insidious agenda.
