Agents from the divisive Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will help support US security operations for the Winter Olympic Games in Italy next month, a spokesperson told AFP.

Is anyone else just not feeling the Olympics this year?
I’m not a sports person and don’t have a whole lot of national pride on a good day, but I’ve liked watching the Olympics since I was a kid.
I enjoy seeing people from all over the world with such outstanding abilities, experiencing the aesthetics of people from different places, and rooting for the underdogs.
This year, I’m just embarrassed of America. I hate seeing the rise of right wing ideology worldwide. I miss and worry about my former co-workers in Ukraine. There’s constant pain, suffering, and death in Palestine and the middle east.
I don’t know…it should be a bit of an escape, but the whole thing is bumming me out this year.
Italy, arrest the first fucking ICE goon that steps off the plane.
Italy has a long history of dealing with outside agitators. History tells me lions should be involved.

It was obvious the moment they increased ICE funding 10x, to more than most militaries.
It will take years to install nazi loyalists and culture throughout the existing military and intelligence agencies, so the nazis chose to convert a small federal agency into their own secret police; explicitly recruiting as many far right criminals, extremists, and terrorists as possible.
ICE will be used to implement the military dictatorship by terrorizing all antifascists from here on out.

Excuse me but what the fuck? I can somehow rationalize the US wanting some additional security for their athletes. It’s weird but America is weird so whatever. But what part of fucking IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT agency indicates “we do operations on foreign soil”? Considering the level of their training they’re probably the biggest threat at the Olympics.

I expect their main role would be to stop us european foreigners sneaking on board the return flight, lol!
What if it is the opposite, to make sure all murican athletes gets back on the plane and not flee to Europe. North Korean style.
