I dressed up as Marilyn Monroe one Halloween as a teen. The costume had the most ridiculous padding on the butt and chest, it was clearly a silly costume and not any sort of statement. The amount of vitriol I faced was eye opening for me. I’m honestly glad I did it because it showed me how people treat those that make them feel uncomfortable. I thought, “if this is how they treat me on Halloween I can’t imagine what other people go through every day” and this was well before trans people were made the boogeyman of the week.

Guess I deserve to die now? Eat a fuckin dick, Bob.

A kid wore a dress in high school for Halloween. The exact people you would expect it from, the ones with rapey vibes, couldn’t keep their hands off him and end up ripping it off him.

Also, it was the dress of his mother who was in the process of dying of cancer and they all knew that.

Yeah, I avoided coming out for years because I didn’t think I could handle cishet people looking at me and laughing, or their insults. It’s still difficult.

I’m a guy who likes to wear skirts and dresses around the house. Does that mean the government is allowed to murder me?

Well yeah, but not because of the skirts and dresses. Clearly the government is allowed to murder whomever it wants.

Ah cool. Well, dont bring guns to public stores unless you plan to use them. In fact, you dont need guns outside your house unless you plan to use them. Actually, you know what, why do you even need guns? Pretty sure if you own a gun, youre planning on attacking our peaceful ICE agents, hence owning guns means you deserve government sanctuoned execution.

Can you post photos in Linked In comments? Are there comments on Linked In posts? If so, be a shame if some enterprising AI dialogue coach made a similar picture of ol’ Bob.

Their face is also completely different. They don’t even look similar, like at all.

Is this really LinkedIn? Who tf gets political for no reason on LinkedIn? I’ve seen a lot of insane things posted on LinkedIn, but it always seems to at least be meant to promote the poster in their professional role. I just don’t understand why a real estate agent would post something like this on LinkedIn, strange.

I work for a very large recognizable company with incredibly deep pockets. We had a guy demo some software that his company developed that my team was interested in purchasing. During the demo he opened a browser window and his bookmark bar from left to right was Fox News, Newsmax, OANN, and Epoch fucking Times. I checked his LinkedIn and it was unhinged and unprofessional.

I think people who are in that bubble think it’s as innocuous as posting about the weather.

I’m doomscrolling his linkedin page and it’s non-stop idiotic garbage. I stopped at the GDP chart explaining why Alberta shouldn’t be “trapped” in Canada.

Wait this post didn’t show enough that this person’s speech should be heard as much as you want to hear any older generation farting?

Mean kudos to the journey but it’s like looking up a lava path and thinking, maybe I’ll try it, while never having done a physical activity regularly.

Ah he’s from AB though (mean the only ones besides bots who probably have an option of a province in Canada)…used to live there…moved away, had to move back, made sure my only goal was not to live there. Plus I lived in the ass end of AB where it was -40 for a week (well think global warming killed that but my memory) so was my mission to get back to the coast. Made it halfway, could be worse.

like 4 new used-car dealerships just opened int he past year around where I live. Great! Exactly what our economy needs, people who make money exclusively by fucking over their customers. Wonderful!

Depending on what they’re selling, but mostly yes you have to be a certain kind of person to lie to people’s faces all day long for a buck.
