I never said I was unwilling to take an evening to vote, the part where I disagreed with you was in your over-emphasis on voting as a legitimate vehicle for change. If you truly believe voting is important, rather than a “might as well,” then you aren’t learning from centuries of leftist struggles that inform us that this is a dead end. Then please don’t use speech to discourage action. There are still victories to be made there for working class people. Just because you won’t get everything doesn’t mean you should leave it all. Elections don’t happen often, so its not a big ask to take an evening to go vote. There is still the rest of the time for other forms of organizing. Please engage with the points I am making.
