Just watched the gas price go from $1.110 to $1.500 in my town in Canada. Very glad to be driving an EV.
Ah I remember those prices. Must’ve been somewhere around 2008, before I could drive. Funny how prices never went back there but they do keep going up.
1.77 CHF for unleaded
South FL. At about 3.89 cash, 4.09 card. It was under 3.00 before the strikes.
$2.99 this morning in northeast OK. It was $2.39 on March 1st, and jumped to $2.99 on the 2nd. I was surprised it didn’t go up this morning… But I’m sure it has gone up since I drove to work.
Soooo glad I have a silly little fuel efficient car.
South West Florida, a week ago - $2.60, as of yesterday $3.69
Canada rejoices when our gas is only at us$5/gal.
Gee…maybe not buy so many SUVs and pickups then.
Southern Europe, went from 1,7 euro/liter approximately to about 1,85 recently, so about 9% increase.
Today (March 8), US Midwest, $3.49/gal
$3.50 here too at almost every gas station in my area in the mountain states.
Two weeks ago I filled up for $3.00, and a few months ago it was $1.70 (that only lasted for about a week though).
Ooh, it hasn’t dropped below $2 here in the last decade, as far as I can remember.
$5.19 at the cheapest near me in Los Angeles, 3/8. Just a week ago it was around $4.29, but of course I procrastinated filling up my hybrid since I still had a quarter of a tank left… Sigh.
Northern Netherlands, somwhere around 2,20 for E10 Euro 95, 2,30 for diesel. Diesel is not usually more expensive than petrol.

This morning in Northern California: $4.89/gallon for regular at Costco, which is a good deal in my area, although you have to have a paid membership to get it.
