With their nuclear capability ‘completely obliterated’ for the second time this year, Iran is now three weeks away from a bomb. Whew, world saved /s.

On the other hand, we can start talking about Trump-Epstein again - especially since the dow is well under 50k.

If this is true, I think we should hire Iranians to build nuclear powerplants. Our engineers need decades to build one, they managed to rebuild their entire nuclear infrastructure in a few months.

You know, this reminds me I need to set some kind of Epstein Alarm.

Every time the DOW fluctuates I should remember to read another document from the 2-percent of the files released so far.

If I said “very complete, pretty much” I’m pretty sure they’d bring me to the hospital for a stroke.

    So what did we accomplish?

…What did we go in to accomplish, for that matter?

I’m not talking about distractions, that’s fine to discuss, but as far as I’m aware, I’ve not heard any justification for why we went in and that we’ve reached any objectives.

The new guy elected is somehow even more of a hardliner and I’ve read he definitely wants nukes. So we got iran to commit to nukes probably. Plus, we saw how well America has adapted to drone warfare. So, yay? What’s a couple dozen billion dollars to military industry friends, some combat experience, some dead americans, and destabilizing the world economy?

There is zero economic rationale for nukes, especially when you have sunny place and China as a friend. An easy offramp is to sell any nuclear material to highest bidder, with US invited to bid. Only justification of nuclear energy is scientist control and military purposes. True even in China with reasonable power prices.

The hard line reputation is more about Iran sovereignty absolutism. His father made a mistake to hope for US/Europe reasonableness/raprochement. IRGC resisted Chinese support, for more control over people. New leader doesn’t mean any predictable outcome, but may be open to understanding previous mistakes.

Economic, no, but you’d have to be out of your mind to not see the security rationale for obtaining nuclear weapons if you were Iran.

My point was that nuclear energy is not economic from selling energy perspective. I agree that it was idiotic mistake for Iran to pretend to pursue economic/peaceful nuclear energy. Still, if it can sell enriched uranium at high profit, that is easy path to peace.

A really salient point. What is the purported reason for this war?

As a not-american im really, really sick of this shit. Im on the other side of the world, we have a stable democracy and elected a centre left government.

Yet, fuel prices have jumped, inflation to follow, and yesterday I learned that fuel shortages are a very real possibility.

Additionally theyre talking about deploying our troops to the region, which will probably include my nephew.

While i understand that not all americans are at fault, and some of you have even been doing your best, as a nation I… dislike you immensely.

His goal is to foment Iranian terrorist cells to attack on US soil, thus giving the pretext this regime was looking for to institute martial law or cancel midterms all together.

Also his other goal was to do anything Israel wanted so they don’t release all the kompromat of Trump raping children.

True, but it would be much better if the Iranian regime just attacked themselves, then the American regime wouldn’t have to pile on even more lies.

Straight outta Putin’s playbook, with the Chechen terrorist attacks, that somehow used a very specific material that only Russian military would have access to and then the FSB confiscated all evidence and never investigated it again.

This man has the attention span of an ADHD cocker spaniel. There’s no way in hell he will continue caring about this for more than a couple of weeks.

He’s trying to apply “Art of the Deal” logic to geopolitics. “Just a little bomb-bomb. Just a little pressure on the Muslim brown people. Then we’ll stop and they’ll give us what we want. That’s how business works. I’m the greatest businessman I’ve ever known, some people say.” People dying for generations to come is just part of the game for these pedophilic narcissist fucktards.
