I believe I remember endgame players helping me out in the beginning and it’s just such a welcoming little gesture. I want to make someone’s day and make them feel at home.

I play medic in tf2 and I love ubering and pocketing noobs. When they go on a kill streak they are so excited and I’m so proud.
Giving a beginner stuff in a game basically deprives them of the game.
The better way would be to steer them away from games that require in game curency.
