Pork BBQ and Collards. Finish it down with some Cheerwine.
Lexington style or GTFO
Shrimp & Grits
Pepperoni rolls and Mountain Dew.
French fries and meth.
The Bedfordshire Clanger!
Dinnede (a type of flatbread/pizza thing), and white wine.
Dinnede looks very delicious.
Boiled crawfish and a cold beer. Or maybe turtle soup au sherry and a sazerac. Depends on the season.
I’m a little to the right of you on the Gulf. Can I come over for some of that?
Beer and fish, I guess
Green Chile, and various food items smothered in green chile, with a craft beer from one of the kajillion small breweries we have around here.
Lived in the Denver area for a couple years, I miss the green chili, even though I have a shit tolerance for spicy food.
Green chile is life.
Colorado?
Yup.
Philly: A cheesesteak, hoagie, or Italian roast pork (with broccoli rabe, roasted hot peppers, and sharp provolone cheese) sandwich, and a citywide special (traditionally a 12oz PBR and a shot of Jim Beam for $5)
Yuengs & Wings (which rhymes) would be another solid choice
For the kids, maybe a birch beer and a soft pretzel
Don’t forget pork roll and scrapple
(Actually let’s forget scrapple, it’s disgusting)
scrapple is indeed disgusting, I’ll take care of all the scrapple give it to me 👍
Obviously pierogi and vodka
Chicago hot dog, surely. The deep dish pizza thing is exaggerated, but Chicago style hot dog is plentiful. Chicago style hot dog loves you. If you ask for ketchup you will have packets thrown at you disdainfully.
Theres no drink option other than overly hoppy IPA (gross, I know, but it is the pnw) and likely salmon on some mixed greens.
I was wondering why there were so many IPAs up here. Didn’t realize it was a regional thing. Recently moved to Portland
Roast dinner and cider I think, idk if there’s a more fitting combo for the British countryside
Tacos (really good ones like a proper al pastor or birria) and a strong frozen margarita.
