Part of me says let 'em. I use Trump or Republican paraphernalia as self-identification by people I do not want to interact with. As far as I’m concerned, let them make a whites-only city wherever they want one. These are places that neither I nor my family will go, and a whole bunch of the people I don’t want to interact with in the first place will voluntarily sequester themselves there.

Hmm I know yours is the rational answer, but if I never have to worry that the nurse giving my son a shot is going to explain to me how Biden is cancelling medicaid for everyone so they can be sure to give it to “the illegals” then I do indeed consider more political siloing to be a step up. I would find a way to move my family if you said I could live in a town where I can be absolutely certain no one I live, work, and interact with looks at what Trump is doing and thinks they want more of that.
When we finally get around to trying to return to normalcy, if I haven’t died of old age by then, I will go to my grave excluding Trump voters from my life in all possible ways for what they have inflicted on my kids, their kids, and the nation. That’s not how wildfires work. If it burned, the fuels have been consumed. This is why the Forest Service in the western US do prescribed burns. Forest fires are actually an essential part ecosystems.
