Summary

Project 2025, a manifesto supported by the conservative Heritage Foundation, calls for a ban on pornography, labeling its purveyors as criminals and advocating for strict penalties, including jail time for producers and registered sex offender status for educators distributing it.

The manifesto argues that porn lacks First Amendment protection, framing it as harmful and exploitative.

With a right-leaning Supreme Court, proponents aim to overturn existing protections established in Miller v. California, potentially impacting mainstream media.

Donald Trump has pledged to bring Project 2025 contributors onto his team.

First president to have actual nude photos of his wife available.

If any other president, especially a Democrat, had nudes of their wife it would be a scandal.

But America is so beholden to these idiots that it doesn’t even matter to anyone.

Historically, you can’t be charged for crimes you committed before the law criminalizing them was passed. However, precedence and fair application of the law have lost all meaning so you could be arrested, but she wouldn’t.

In my school in the Bible belt that was primarily what they focused on. I don’t remember much time being given to condoms. I certainly don’t remember ever being given one or shown how to use it (not that it’s that difficult or anything, but still).

But what I do remember is a speaker coming to our school to talk to us about how he had sex outside of marriage and got a girl pregnant, but he did the right thing and got married. Also, and I cannot stress this enough, he described this as abstaining because he married the person he had sex with.

That was mine… In the early 00s. And again with a guest speaker… In my advanced marketing class… In the late 00s. I will never forget how that lady sat on a desk, explaining with vivid, passionate excitement and lust, how waiting for your life partner to be your first time is, moans and quivers, so good~

The fuck, Smith, I thought we were going to fuck around and watch movies while you go “make some copies” only to never return, like every other day. The fuck is this shit. Even your own kid in this class is visibly distraught and confused. Poor guy is fucking scarred for life.

Luckily the chain of command helps dilute the worst of this type of effect. As I understand it most orders will have to go through the folks at the Pentagon first and they could very well just say no or otherwise pull some malicious compliance.

Reminder the military has a more or less parallel system to the civil system. Its entirely possible they may just decide to separate themselves more or less.

I live in an area with veterans and its a bit more of a mixed bag. Most of them are dissolutioned with the system, its not that they dont have political leanings they just hate both. The ones who are politically active are usually lowd and dumb as fuck Republicans, the JD Vance type. The few I met who were commissioned officers were fucking feral and had nothing good to say about the right.

Remember the split in the veterans will be based broadly on education similar to the general public. And frankly speaking the actual folks at the Pentagon are pretty well educated.

Also I will happily admit that this is me hoping for a somewhat workable scenario. Im Californian which means I am in the perfectly cooked chicken zone of this soon to be nuclear blast, watching a bunch of mush brained dipshits play with the nuke. I practically cant do fuck all.

Honestly a good amount of that shit is of questionable function, reminder most of the good shit is going to the national guard first. The police are at best using old ass NVG and optics, maybe they have a functional IFV but itll be of questionable maintenance. My local police department gave up and just has the Sheriff department do anything that requires more than a rifle, mostly cause the mechanics refused to work on the humvee they got.

Also the police arent exactly trained for an actual resistance movement, itll be likely a more embarrassing version of the union and county wars.

Otherwise it will just be a boring ass breakdown, transmission failure is pretty common in military vehicles as a general rule. Reminder the US military is a logistics network with an army meaning that just cause they can keep a vehicle running doesnt mean even the oversized budget of LAPD can.

And again, the US totally failed to learn from history. This time, even their own history. Do you actually have history classes in school, or has this been replaced by “American” “football” or “Cheerleading” classes already?

Hint: I’m talking about 1920 to 1933, when organized crime in the US was thriving like mad due to a similar stupid idea. This time, it won’t be any better. Keywords: Volstead Act and Cullen-Harrison Act

My history classes were how heroic the founding fathers were (nothing about how they owned slaves until college), how the civil war was about states rights, how we kicked total ass in WW2 except FDR was kind of a dictator and had too many terms, and how LBJ fucked up Vietnam and it was his fault we lost. They did offer an AP History class and it was a bit more truthful than what I had so far up to that point, but was still subject to the same school board’s oversight.

It was very “both sides had a point but the rightmost point is the correct one”.

This was in the 90s and early 2000s in rural Appalachia.

Once I got to college I was like uhhhh what? It’s crazy to me that the federal government subsidizes and provides education that is going to lead to its own downfall. Maybe we DO need to dismantle the department of Education.

Holy shit did I just red pill myself?

Joking of course. These people can’t even govern their own impulses (see Epstein and rampant pedophilia on the right).

In high school we had one year of “world” history that went something like this:

        Man “appeared” in Africa

Sometime later planted corn and stuff

Egypt, Italy and China had big dynasties and stuff

Now let’s talk about the important history: Western Europe and more importantly America!!!

America is awesome - we do cool stuff and we are amazing oh yea the natives … well they were well… uh America is awesome!

        WWII we kicked ass

        Communism is bad

        Vietnam war happened

It makes me wonder what the rest of the country outside my state is even learning. When I was in high school, it felt like WW2 was the ONLY history being taught in regular history class. I had to take an elective, AP, European history class just to learn something other than the American revolution, the civil war, civil rights movement, women’s sufferage, and WW2.

Hilarious. As if this could ever actually be instituted nationwide. Regulations on sale and access maybe, but moral crusades like this are perpetually doomed to failure, much like the War on Drugs.

Doesn’t mean they won’t try, won’t posture, won’t grandstand about it, but to actually succeed in this goal when over 50% of the populace isn’t going to be behind it? I guess we’ll just have to watch them try.

It’s not to try and ban porn

It’s a way to snoop on all Internet traffic.

Like cops “smelling weed” anytime they want to hassle someone. If they don’t like a person, they’ll spy on their Internet usage, obviously find some kind of porn, and then make a public spectacle out of to distract from what they’re mad at that person for.

They don’t care about the crime, they want an excuse to investigate people they don’t like.

Say something mean on twitter, and they’ll search your IP till they find something they can call porn.

They’ll say they’re gonna ban it and when there’s uproar they’ll say to “protect the kids” you need a digital ID to access porn. Then they’ll expand it to everything, ban VPN’s, encryption and there will be no more privacy. The war on drugs only failed if you truly believe its goal was getting rid of drugs.

To quote John Erlichman, one of its architects:

“The Nixon Campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar Left, and Black people. You understand what I’m saying? We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or Black. But by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and Blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.”

By the strandards of what it was created to do, the war on drugs was fantastically successful.

The war on porn will be successful in exactly the same way, because Republicans have already spent decades redefining all LGBTQ content as “pornographic”. This is will be a tool for disrupting queer and trans communities, for erasing queer and trans resources and tearing down queer and trans rights activists. Stopping porn isn’t the point, and it never was.

It’s meant as a comparison in terms of Moral Crusades via Prohibition tactics. I have a feeling that a “ban” on pornography will likely end the same way, with hyperbolic responses and lives disrupted to no positive resolutions. But it really seems untenable as a concept, that genie is so far out of the bottle that there is no bottle anymore; only the whole entire internet

No, but they can go after the owners and operators of major porn sites and have them shut down (and possibly executing them). Then the subsequent chilling effect that will occur, making sure nobody dares try to take their place.

You could probably use a VPN and find stuff, but say goodbye to pornhub, youporn, xvideos, etc. And in certain states they will probably make accessing it illegal (or simply using a VPN at all. And no, it will not matter that they’re legitimately needed for all sorts of legal shit, it’ll be used at the government’s discretion (which means singling out people who are using it to access porn. Until it isn’t, and they use it for whatever they want because they are the law).

This is what fascism is. People really don’t seem to grasp this. We need to stop viewing he world from this current paradigm, because come January 20, this nation will become unrecognizable.

This is what people don’t seem to grasp about fascism… It doesn’t matter. None of the rules or social mores that you’ve known since you were born will matter anymore.

People need to read some history books, this has happened before. We aren’t special, it is already happening here.
