Wow! What does boar taste like?
I really enjoyed the boar, it was my first time to try it. It was very rich and meaty. Not really gamey but the recipe did call for a marinade in red wine so that may have tempered it.
Would you compare it more to beef or pork?
Sort of in between. Richer than pork but not as irony as beef.
